Over the last few weeks, we have been learning a lot about the word BELONGING.
Here are some of the definitions of BELONGING students have shared with their peers:
"A group of people together who like each other is belonging" - H.F.
"People who like each other, stay together." - K.W.
"Staying together with your friends and not being mean." - A.Q.
"People who live in a city are a group and belong together." - K.M.
"There are 5 people who belong in my family group." - N.V.
"when everyone is in a group, you can't leave somebody out. All the people in the group are included and belong together." - C.L.
"Sharing with your friends is belonging." - T.J.
"Sitting together with everyone you love is belonging." - M.L.
We have read a number of storybooks that all centre around the idea of belonging. Feel free to watch any of these titles by clicking on the video.
