Circles and Squares

Reminders:

• Wednesday January 27th is "Dress as a Book Character Day"
• Friday January 22 AM Kindergarten attends
• Library Book return on Wednesday!

This week, we learned about all about circles and started learning about squares! We went on a scavenger hunt around the classroom to look for these shapes. 

We read a silly story about Circles by Mac Barnett.

We brainstormed the differences between circles and squares. 

We also drew pictures of things that are round. 

You can ask your child:

• How many sides does a circle have? A square?
• How many corners does a circle have? A square?
• What is one thing that is different about circles and squares? What is one thing that is the same?
