Good afternoon,
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Today we learned all about the letter K. This is the trickiest letter we have done so far because we have to come into the middle of a letter instead of going up and down like our Frog Jump Capitals.
We also started learning about the Life Cycle of a Pumpkin! We learned that a pumpkin starts off as a seed, turns into a tiny sprout with a whole bunch of vines tumbling out. Then it has a flower, a green pumpkin, then it turns into a big, orange pumpkin and the whole cycle begins again. We learned this is a pattern because the cycle repeats itself, over and over again.
Here are the videos we watched in class to help us understand our question, "How does a pumpkin grow?"
Have you carved a pumpkin at home yet? How many seeds were inside the pumpkin?
Have a wonderful evening!
