This week, we had a classroom visit from Constable Rich. The had A LOT of questions for him and were so excited to learn how the police support us and protect us in the community.
To find out more information about this visit, ask your child:
- What are some ways police can travel within our community? (car, motorcycle, bicycle, horse)
- Did I like the white car or the black car better? Why?
- What are some ways the police are engaged in our communities? (community events, sporting events, fundraisers, ice-skating, patrolling, Calgary Stampede, and many many more!)
- What is the special phone number I can use in the case of an emergency? When can I use this number? (9-1-1 ; can use this number if a grown up is hurt or being hurt and needs help or if you are scared of someone and your trusted adult isn't around)
