Community Project is Underway...

 Reminders:

• Return library books every Wednesday
• Arts Day on Wednesday March 24 - we will be doing visual arts, drama and music activities and sharing our learning with another class! 
• AM Kindergarten attends Friday March 26

Our community project is underway and we have started building our community using recycled materials! Thank you so much for all of your contributions - you've made this project possible! 

First, we started off by watching this video that outlined different parts of a city:

Then, we brainstormed which part of the community we wanted to build:

Next, we learned all about blueprints and brainstormed what we would like our structures to look like. Here are a few examples of what some students did for their blueprints:

Then, we used paper mache to create a solid foundation for our projects!

Now, we are beginning to construct the walls on the inside of our structures and think about the different objects we would like to include inside.
