Sorting Frenzy!

Reminder: 

• No School Friday October 9th or Monday October 12th! Happy Thanksgiving! 
• Picture day is on Wednesday October 14th!

This week, we continued sorting. We worked on creating and clearly identifying groups based on attributes. 

Here are the class examples we came up with:

Students were tasked with sorting into groups based on one attribute (shape, color, or size). Here are some student examples.

This task allowed students to work on:

• Cutting paper
• Identifying attributes (shape, color, size)
• Gluing paper into groups
• Writing words or sounds in the color, shape or size they identified

You can also grab a random selection of items at home and figure out how to sort them into groups based on shape, color or size!
