IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR TOMORROW!

Just wanted to share a friendly reminder that tomorrow (Friday September 11th) is our first Friday half day! Afternoon (PM) Kindergarten attends school in the morning with the 'soft entry'  into the school starting at 7:50. Aim to be in the school by 7:55. We will be in class ready for learning by 7:58. We dismiss on half days at 11:55pm. There is no school for the morning (AM) class tomorrow. :)

LEARNING UPDATE

Today we opened the big block corner for the very first time! We are so excited. We have one block corner for the morning class and one for the afternoon class so that materials are not shared between class cohorts. Look what some of the students built today! AMAZING! We saved this creation so that we can revisit the next time we are in class. What might we add next? We could draw our structure or maybe even build it out of boxes we can keep :) Four students in each class got to play in blocks today. We are all looking forward to taking our turns to play there for the very first time. 

Students also learned how to independently find the centre activities for each class. They know to look for the pictures below to find the materials that they are using in their cohort. If we have enough for both classes we will have the learning material all year. If not we will play with them for a while. Then they will be disinfected before we give the other class a turn too!
