This week, we started looking at patterns.
We learned that a pattern is something that repeats itself.
We went outside to explore patterns using natural materials.
This is a AB pattern, which is a pattern that has two repeating attributes
(i.e. pine cone, leaf, pine cone, leaf, ...)
Tomorrow, we will be creating more patterns using pattern blocks and drawing them in our "Thinking Books".
We have also started exploring with numbers during morning table time and centers. Here are a few examples of activities your child has been doing!
